Contact Our TeamEnd-to-End IBC Management
Most IBC suppliers handle only one piece of the puzzle. Rochester IBC manages the entire container lifecycle under one roof, which means fewer vendors, lower costs, seamless handoffs, and complete accountability from first contact to final disposition.
Procurement & Supply
We source used IBC totes from manufacturers, distributors, food producers, and chemical companies across the Northeast. Every container is inspected at intake, graded on our standardized scale, and entered into our inventory management system. When you need containers, we match your requirements against current stock by grade, size, prior contents, and valve configuration. Orders are assembled, quality-checked, and staged for delivery or pickup, typically within 48 hours of confirmation.
- Continuous sourcing from 200+ regional suppliers
- Real-time inventory tracking by grade, size, and type
- Custom orders fulfilled within 48-72 hours
- Recurring supply programs with locked-in pricing
Cleaning & Reconditioning
Our in-house cleaning facility processes thousands of IBCs annually through a multi-stage protocol: initial drain and inspection, hot water pressure wash at 160-180 degrees Fahrenheit with 2,000+ PSI, chemical rinse matched to prior contents, triple fresh-water rinse, and optional FDA-compliant food-grade sanitization. Reconditioning includes valve replacement, gasket renewal, cage straightening, pallet repair, and label removal. Every unit is leak-tested and documented before returning to inventory.
- Six-stage cleaning protocol with quality checkpoints
- Food-grade sanitization for qualifying containers
- Component replacement: bottles, valves, gaskets, lids
- Certificate of cleaning issued for every unit
Recycling & Disposal
Containers that have reached end of life are fully disassembled at our facility. HDPE bottles are shredded into clean plastic flake for domestic recyclers. Galvanized steel cages are compacted and sent to regional steel mills. Wood pallets are repaired for reuse or chipped for biomass. Contaminated units are processed through licensed hazardous waste partners with full EPA RCRA compliance documentation. We issue Certificates of Recycling for every job, documenting weights recovered, destinations, and zero-landfill confirmation.
- 98% material recovery rate across all components
- EPA and NY DEC compliant hazardous material handling
- Certificates of Recycling for sustainability reporting
- Zero containers sent to landfill since founding

How the IBC Lifecycle Works
Collection
We pick up used IBCs from businesses, manufacturers, and distributors across the Northeast. Free pickup for qualifying volumes.
Assessment
Every tote is inspected, graded, and categorized. Reusable units enter our cleaning pipeline. End-of-life units go to recycling.
Processing
Reusable IBCs are cleaned, reconditioned, and quality-tested. Recyclable materials are separated and sent to certified processors.
Redistribution
Clean, graded IBCs are sold to businesses at significant savings. Every container finds its highest-value use before recycling.
Client Success Metrics
Our integrated approach to IBC management delivers measurable results for businesses of every size. These metrics represent the real-world outcomes our clients achieve by partnering with Rochester IBC instead of managing containers on their own or working with multiple vendors.
Average Savings vs. New IBCs
Our clients save thousands annually by purchasing quality-graded used and reconditioned containers instead of new.
Reduction in Container Downtime
Scheduled delivery, combined trips, and priority processing keep your operations running without interruption.
Compliance Documentation Rate
Every transaction includes full paperwork: certificates of recycling, cleaning documentation, and chain of custody records.
Average Order Fulfillment
From quote confirmation to delivery at your door, most orders are completed within one business week.
Reduced Vendor Complexity
Before Rochester IBC, many of our clients juggled separate vendors for purchasing, cleaning, disposal, and transport. Consolidating everything under one provider eliminates communication gaps, reduces administrative overhead, and ensures consistent quality across every service.
Measurable Sustainability Impact
Clients receive detailed environmental impact reports including total containers diverted from landfill, pounds of HDPE and steel recycled, estimated CO2 emissions avoided, and water saved through reconditioning versus new production. These metrics directly feed ESG reports and sustainability disclosures.
Predictable Container Costs
Our recurring purchase and cleaning programs offer locked-in pricing with scheduled deliveries. Clients know exactly what their container costs will be each quarter, eliminating budget surprises from volatile new-container pricing or emergency procurement situations.
Zero-Liability Disposal
For contaminated and end-of-life containers, our documented recycling and disposal process transfers liability away from your business. EPA waste manifests, chain of custody records, and certificates of destruction provide an auditable compliance trail.
Faster Operations
Combined delivery and pickup trips mean your new containers arrive at the same time your empties are collected. No staging, no waiting, no scheduling two separate trucks. Operations teams report significantly less time spent managing container logistics.
Scalability on Demand
Whether you need 5 IBCs or 500, our inventory and logistics capacity scales with your business. Seasonal surges, new product launches, and unexpected demand spikes are handled without lead-time delays because we maintain large ready-to-ship stock.
Industries We Serve
Our IBC tote services support a wide range of industries across the Northeast. From food-grade containers to chemical-compatible tanks, we match the right container to your application.
